Success with the first auctions of the great finalists!

In this new auction of the finalists of the International Derby Costa del Sol we have exceeded 18.000 euros and with an excellent average of 731 euros per bird. These results are better than last OLR. The auction that was being very disputed because it is about birds that have managed to return from the Costa del Sol Final that was very hard. They are pigeons with great character, whose main characteristic is that of not surrendering, and with a capacity of orientation more than demonstrated.

Two Spanish pigeons were auctioned for more than 2.000 euros. Among the first 25 auctioned pigeons we highlight the Spanish pigeon of Julian Dinu, with ring ESP-19-060011, which ranking in the first position and has been sold for 2.960 euros. Other pigeons that have been auctioned for a significant amount have been the Spanish of Rida Gzouly F, ESP-19-145163, which has been auctioned for 2.010 euros and the pigeon got the ninth position in the final. On the other hand, the bird from breeder Frères Eloiyde A, Morocco, with ring MAROC-19-17703, has been auctioned for 1.500 euros and ranking in the seventh position. In sixth place was the Spanish pigeon of Sbaai Hicham-Yassin Aanan J, with ring ESP-19-145340, that has been auctioned for 1.610 euros, followed by the pigeon with ring ESP-19-145041, from Rida Gzouly F and ranking in the 13th position auctioned for 1.310 euros.

These 25 pigeons have different origins: Germany (2), Belgium (3), Spain (8), Slovakia (1), Croatia (1), Morocco (4), Denmark (2), Italy (1), United Kingdom (1) and Norway (1).

The OLR, sponsored by Winkie, a company belonging to Pets at Home JP, S.L., took place last September in Malaga with great success of participation with more than 1,100 registered pigeons and with 60% of them basketed.

This seventh edition of the Costa del Sol has fulfilled all expectations and from Winkie we want to thank all the collaborators and participants for their dedication and enthusiasm.
